UPDATE – Lawyer Now In Custody

TUPELO (WCBI) – A Randolph lawyer is in custody after being accused of bringing contraband into the Lee County Adult Detention Center.

Jeffrey Waldo was arrested Tuesday  shortly after Sheriff Jim Johnson revealed Waldo was suspected of giving  several banned items to a client during a consultation Friday at the jail.  Those items were found when the inmate was searched after the meeting.
