Wanted Itawamba County Man Behind Bars

ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- The search for a Mantachie man ends after he turns himself in.

Russell Esters, 25, was arrested by U.S. Marshals yesterday, March 13.

Back on February 20th, the Itawamba County Sheriff’s Office, agents with the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit and the Fulton Police Department executed a search warrant and searched Esters home at 580 Highway 363.

Once inside, officers found what they believed was methamphetamine, marijuana, an AK-47 and several stolen furniture pieces from a plant in Mantachie.

Esters bond was set at $20,000.
