“Weed the People” documentary follows children with cancer receiving cannabis treatments

Research has shown that cannabis has a number of health benefits, but because of federal regulations, access and further research is limited. A new documentary, “Weed the People,” follows several families as they navigate finding cannabis treatments for their children with cancer. The film’s executive producer Ricki Lake and director Abby Epstein joined CBSN for a first look.
