West Point convenience store ordered to pay workers back

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) A West Point convenience store must repay 15 employees back wages, totaling near $30,000.

The U.S. Department of Labor investigated West Point Fast Break.

It said the company violated minimum wage, overtime, and record keeping requirements.

The store was also accused of failing to pay required overtime, along with paying some employees in cash without records and discarded their time cards.
