Florida Fugitive Caught In Prentiss County

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (Press Release) – On Saturday night Sept 5th, Prentiss County Deputy Dewayne Mink made a traffic stop and discovered after checking the driver’s identification that the indvidual was a Wanted Fugitive from Florida. Troy Allen Butler aka “King Level”, 27, a Florida Native was wanted on Burglary of a Structure Charges from Broward County Florida and an Outstanding Federal Indictment on Weapons Charges from the Southern District of Florida United States District Court. The indictment had been handed down in Feb. 2015. Butler had an extensive felony criminal record including Resisting and Obstructing Arrest and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer. Butler gave a Booneville Address and was working as a Cook in Tupelo at a local eating establishment. Butler was released to Federal Authorities on 09/08/2015 to be tranfered to Florida for prosecution.
