Marshall County Escapee Captured in Memphis

MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss.  and MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WCBI) — A Marshall County inmate  who escaped Friday morning is back in custody. 48 year-old Jimmie Rook was captured late Friday afternoon in Memphis.

Rook, an Arkansas native, is serving a 10 year sentence for theft.  He left the Marshall County Jail about 8:00 A.M. Friday in a stolen Sheriff’s Department vehicle.
