Roll Over Crash Near the Air Force Base

Columbus, Miss. (WCBI) — One car rolled over in an accident on Highway Forty-five North near the Air Force base earlier Saturday afternoon.

The accident happened a little after 4 PM.

Eighteen year old Joshua Crandall rear ended sixty-four year old Essie Colister, causing Colister’s car to lose control and roll over.

There were four other passengers in the car with Colister.

All of them were taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital and their injuries were non-fatal.

Crandall told authorities that he dozed off before rear ending Colister.
