Message From Superintendent Christie Holly

I want to take this opportunity to update parents with allowable information regarding events from the last 24 hours. The district and local police department received phone calls late last night detailing bomb threats to all county schools. After a thorough inspection of all campuses using bomb search dogs and trained law enforcement personnel, authorities feel the threat is not credible, and students are safe to return to school. Several districts in America received similar threats today and show similar patterns. I trust the expertise of our local, county, state, and federal agencies in making this determination. Please know we will continue to be proactive and take all precautions necessary to help protect the children of our district. Thank you!
