COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -Columbus is getting some professional advice about going in to the music amphitheater business.

An expert involved with some Alabama amphitheaters looked at Columbus sites today and discussed options, including improving the existing music stage at the base of the Riverwalk, or building a two thousand seat arena at either a site on the west bank across from the Riverwalk or land between third and fifth avenues near the soccer complex.

The city has as much as 2 million dollars in seed money to start the project but no decision has been made.
