Video: Lowndes Residents Hear Bond Proposal

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. – (WCBI) Parents and residents in the Lowndes County School district learn more about how money from a proposed bond will be used. A community bond meeting was held at West Lowndes High School Thursday evening.

Residents of the county school district will vote May 12th to on the 44-million dollar bond.

If approved by 60%, the money will build a new Vo-Tech Center and New Hope High School.

There will also be improvements to schools in Caledonia and West Lowndes.
