Video: Saltillo Theater Camp Takes Center Stage

SALTILLO, Miss. (WCBI) -The cast of Saltillo’s “Summer Theater Camp” is rehearsing for their big show. For four years now, the theater camp has taken place at Saltillo Elementary School. Twenty one campers are taking part and organizers hope the youngsters get to experience live theater.

“We’re working with them on creative writing, they are going to be working on writing their own commercials, we have an awesome group of counselors who have written original scripts that will go along with our music and so I hope the campers maybe, this is a way they find their niche.”

The campers will present “Let Us Entertain You” 6 o’clock Friday evening at the Saltillo Elementary auditorium.
