Alabama Pushes Past Arkansas

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WCBI Sports) – Alabama trailed at the half Saturday but came back to beat Arkansas 27-14.

The No. 8 Crimson Tide (5-1, 2-1 SEC) fell behind 7-3 at halftime but took the lead on a Jake Coker to Calvin Ridley touchdown pass late in the third quarter.

Alabama gained 396 total yards, 262 passing from Coker who threw two touchdowns and two interceptions. Ridley caught nine passes for 140 yards and a touchdown while Derrick Henry rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries.

The Tide will play at Texas A&M next Saturday, Oct. 17. Kick off is set for 2:30 p.m. It’ll be televised on WCBI.
