STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI/Intersport) – A.J. Brown, a senior football player from Starkville High School, was presented his honorary game jersey at the American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2016 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game at Starkville (Miss.) High School today.

The event was part of the three-month American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the Under Armour All-America Game.

Brown is one of more than 90 players selected to compete in the ninth annual Under Armour All-America Game presented by American Family Insurance, a nationally televised competition spotlighting the country’s top high school seniors.

The 2016 Under Armour All-America Game is slated for Saturday, Jan. 2 at the Orlando Citrus Bowl and will be televised live on ESPN2 at noon ET.

“I chose the Under Armour All-America Game because it is a big deal,” said Brown. “I always watched this game on TV. I was one of those little guys that wanted to play on TV, and I am going to be one of those guys that records it and watches it numerous times. I also played in the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game so I am going to be the second player to do that, to play in both games and that is a huge honor.”
