VIDEO: MSU’s Battle at the Lake

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- The early morning rain couldn’t stop some Starkville fitness enthusiast.  More than hundred weekend warriors competed in the second annual battle at the lake on the MSU Campus.   The cancer fundraiser is  one mile timed run around the lake near The Sanderson Rec Center.  During their run participates stopped at certain check points to complete fitness obstacles.  Activities included wall climbing, hurdles, tire pulls, bear crawls, and agility circuits.  The event is part of MSU’s relay for life fundraising effort. Last year’s battle raised more than $5,000 for the American Cancer Society.
