COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)-Dozens of people lined up today for toys and gifts as part of the Salvation Army’s annual Christmas drive in Columbus.

The families signed up in advance and were pre-screened for the program.

The goodies included clothes, stuffed animals, games, books, cars and other toys.

Making Christmas for needy families is funded in part by the Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Bell Ringing campaign, which is running behind in donations.
