Simmons Headlines Bulldog Trio In NFL Draft First Round

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — In the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Mississippi State made history.

Three Bulldogs were selected in the first round (Jeffery Simmons, Montez Sweat, and Johnathan Abram), the most in school history. Mississippi State is already halfway to breaking its program record of players drafted, which was six back in 1995.
