Battling Bullying at Joyner Elementary School
TUPELO, Miss. – (WCBI) Some Tupelo students learn how to deal with bullies, the right way. The “Drama Queens” of the Tupelo Junior Auxiliary took their anti-bullying message to Joyner Elementary today.
Using an updated version of the classic “Three Little Pigs” the group hopes to prevent bullying behavior, and teach children the proper way to deal with bullies.
“We are visiting four different schools. We rotate each schools we go to, and we are trying to instill in them how important it is to be a buddy, and not be a bully,” says Carley Johnson of the Tupelo Junior Auxiliary
Today’s program is one of several that the J.A. presents to schools in the Tupelo Schools
