Customers Get Involved in Tupelo Promo

The Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association (DTMSA) would like to introduce a new social media concept called Main and Me. Main and Me is an innovative way to give independently owned businesses an online presence through www.mainandme.com. Merchants, as well as consumers, will be able to upload photos of what the business offers on the Main and Me website. As photos are uploaded and tagged to select stores, consumers will be able to like, comment and wish list items. DTMSA is offering Main and Me to the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association members only. A list of members can be found at www.tupelomainstreet.com.

In introducing this new concept, DTMSA is launching Main and Me with an exciting competition called, Flash Drive where consumers are asked to visit downtown businesses and take photos of items they like or menu selections and upload, tag and create a wish list to share with others. The competition will begin September 6th and end October 6th. At the end of the competition, the top three participants will each receive Downtown Tupelo shopping sprees. The 1st place winner will receive $500 Downtown Dollars, 2nd will receive $300 and the 3rd will receive $200.
