Pickens County, AL Train Derailment

PICKENS COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI) – A train derailed in Pickens County, Alabama.

Emergency Management Director Ken Gibson says it happened near Ethelsville close to railroad post marker 31, just off Highway 182.

No injuries were reported when four Alabama Southern Railroad cars derailed, according to Gibson.

Gibson said the cars were carrying crude oil but there was not a leak from Monday’s derailment.
