ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – The City of Aberdeen hosted a Town Hall meeting Tuesday night to discuss housing and business opportunities. Representatives from the Mississippi Development Authority were on hand to discuss programs available to Mississippians. MDA Division reps present at the meeting included the Minority and Small Business Development, Energy Division and the Community Services Division. Ray Robinson, Jr is the MDA Community Services Compliance Manager.
“We are the grants and loan division. We provide community development block grant opportunities, home investment partnership opportunities and loans for local units of government,” says Robinson, Jr.
Representatives from the Small Business Administration and MDOT were also at the meeting.
