Video: ‘Operation Christmas Child’ Begins Shoebox Collection

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Operation Christmas Child kicked off it’s national collection week Monday. Collection centers here in North Mississippi and across the country are taking up shoe boxes filled with donated items to send to children in developing countries and those affected by natural disasters.

The organization urges donors to give toys, school supplies, and non-liquid personal hygiene items.
