2018 Grove Bowl Set for April 7th

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI/Ole Miss Athletics) — Ole Miss will host 2018 Grove Bowl festivities on April 7 at 1 p.m. at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, and admission is free. Television and general gameday information for the football team’s annual intrasquad scrimmage will be announced at a later date.

As part of Ole Miss’ Year of the Fan activities, two lucky fans will have the opportunity to serve as honorary coaches and join the team on the sidelines for the game. For a chance to be selected for this and other unique opportunities and prizes, fans should share the story of their Rebel fandom at OMYearoftheFan.com.

The Grove Bowl will serve as the finale of the Rebels’ spring drills, which begin on February 27. The team practices on March 3 and March 24 will be open to the public. Visit OMYearoftheFan.com/practices for times and locations for those workouts as well as dates of open practices for other Ole Miss athletics teams.

Other events of Grove Bowl weekend include the annual Chucky Mullins Courage Award Breakfast at 8 a.m. at the Grill at 1810 at the Manning Center. Tickets are available through the Ole Miss Athletics Ticket Office.

In addition, both Rebel tennis teams will be in action on campus during Grove Bowl weekend. The women’s team hosts Georgia Thursday at 5 p.m. and Tennessee Saturday at 10 a.m., while the men face rival MSU Sunday at 1 p.m. Admission is free at the Palmer/Salloum Center.

Also on that Sunday afternoon, fans will have the opportunity for a VIP tour of Ole Miss’ football facilities, including the locker room, gameday tunnel, team meeting room and more. Visit OMYearoftheFan.com/tours to RSVP.

All former Ole Miss football players are encouraged to return to Oxford Grove Bowl weekend for a reunion hosted by the M-Club. Details will be released in the coming weeks.
