Tupelo Teen Dies In Sunday Wreck

MONROE COUNTY – (WCBI )  A Tupelo teen is dead after a Sunday morning wreck in Monroe County.  Coroner Alan Gurley says 19 year old Jeramy Jay Hoch of Oak Leigh Drive died when the SUV he was riding in left the road and flipped.

Gurley says just after 7:15 AM the driver was heading north  on Highway,45 Alternate when he ran into the median then flipped several times in the southbound lanes .  The accident was about a mile north of the Clay/Monroe line near Strong Road .  Gurley says Hoch was thrown from the Yukon and died at the scene from multiple trauma.  The driver was airlfted to North Mississippi Medical Center
