Columbus Police To Host Career Day

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – If you’re dreaming about a career in law enforcement, heads up.

The Columbus Police Department is hosting is third career day this weekend.

On Saturday, February 10, starting at 9 a.m., the career day will be going on at the department headquarters at 1501 Main Street.

Right now, Columbus PD is looking to fill spots for patrol officers, investigators, K9 officers, crime scene investigators, motorcycle officers and more.

There will also be a shuttle to take those interested to a the new firing range for a tour.

Applications will be taken there that day.

The event is set to wrap up at 1 p.m.
