4 Charged in Winona Homicide

MONTGOMERY CO, Miss. (WCBI)- Four people are in custody after a homicide in Winona.

According to Winona Police Chief, Tommy Bibbs, law enforcement agents found 32-year-old Artis Demond Jones dead from a gunshot wound Monday.

Investigators say another victim, Tracy Garett, was also shot, and airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigations is also looking into the homicide.

Police are not releasing the names of the suspects until after the MBI completes their investigation.

Chief Bibbs says one of the suspect’s bond has been set at $1 million.

The other suspects face a $500,000 bond.
