Pontotoc man faces Aggravated Assault charge

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI)- A Pontotoc man is accused of assaulting someone in Oxford.

Ta Darius McIntosh, 19, is charged with aggravated assault.

Oxford police say the alleged incident happened on East Jackson Avenue, next to South 10th Street, on early Sunday morning.

The unidentified victim was later taken to a Memphis hospital.

McIntosh turned himself in and was given a $50,000.

The investigation continues.
