MBI issues Silver Alert for missing Hinds County man

HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (MBI, WCBI)- The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Hinds County man.

Stoney Dale Qualls, 47, of Raymond was last seen early Wednesday around 6 a.m. in the 400 block of Front Street. He was leaving the home to help a stranded driver involved in an accident.

Qualls is a white male with brown short hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet and 6 inches tall and weighs 195 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue bath robe, pajama bottoms, a long sleeve black shirt and glasses.

Officials say he may be driving a silver Dodge ram pickup with a Tennessee Titans stick on the rear window. The tag number is HN11904.

They believe he could be heading toward Byram.

His family says he suffers from a condition that can impair his judgement. If you have any information you are asked to contact the Hind County Sheriff’s Office.
