Highway 82 Crash Injures One

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – At least one person is injured in a late afternoon crash on Highway 82 in Columbus.

Traffic was backed up up in the east and westbound lanes while crews cleared the scene.

The crash happened about 4 p.m., just before the Tenn-Tom River bridge.

Columbus Fire and Rescue says the driver was responsive by the time firefighters arrived.

The vehicle came to rest in the median.
