LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-Some changes are in store for Louisville schools this fall. Growing enrollment in younger grades has prompted the school district to move third-grade classes from Fair Elementary across the street to Louisville Elementary. That causes a domino effect of moving sixth grade classes from Louisville Elementary to Eiland Middle School. The changes take effect this fall.

The district also is continuing enrolling students in its pre-kindergarten classes while administrators search for additional funds to expand the program. If additional local or state funds aren’t available, the district may have to start charging some parents as much as $175 dollars a month for their child based on financial need and other factors.
