Several fire crews battle blaze in Starkville

STARKVILLE Miss. (WCBI)- A large fire breaks out near Mississippi State’s campus.

Several crews were called 24 Hillcrest Circle in Starkville.

ktibbeha County Fire Coordinator, Kirk Rosenhan says the home appears to be total loss.

Flames were seen coming from the home once crews made it to the scene.

It started near the carport area and Rosenhan says at this time, it’s believed some type of heater may have ignited the blaze.

The Oktibbeha County Fire investigator will determine the cause.

No one was injured.
