New year, new website for Lowndes County Recreation

The layout of the site is designed to be more aesthetically pleasing and more user friendly.

Short said it will be easier to navigate through tabs like Administration, Programs and Registration.

“One of the most important things on the site is our online registration. Of course with baseball and softball, which is a new program for us this year, we’ll be playing it at Lake Lowndes. We wanted to make sure that everybody has an opportunity if they would like to register online that they can go to the website to register.”

Short said the new site will also be linked to the department’s Facebook and Instagram page.
