Boil water advisory issued for Sulligent, Alabama

SULLIGENT, Ala. (WCBI) – The City of Sulligent Water Department has issued a precautionary boil water advisory.

The advisory is for any customers who have experienced water outages or low water pressure in the past 12 hours.

The department said that because of a water pump failure at the Ogden Hill Water site there is a possibility of contaminants in the water for customers.

Repairs have been made and testing is underway to make sure drinking standards for the water is met.
