Exchange club hands out Andy Morris Book of Golden Deeds Award

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- The Columbus Exchange Club holds its annual Andy Morris Book Of Golden Deeds Awards Luncheon.

This years recipient is Brenda Comer.

Dozens were at Lion Hills Center for this years luncheon.

The Book of Golden Deeds is the exchange clubs longest running project and recognizes dedicated volunteers who give hours and use their talents to make their communities better.

Comer says she’s humbled to be this years recipient.

“I’m just so honored and I’m so grateful to the Exchange Club for giving me this award. I don’t feel that I deserve it, but I’m just honored to be on this distinguished list of people,” said Comer.

The Columbus Exchange Club as recipients dating back to 1972.
