2 teens killed on Natchez Trace Parkway crash

WAYNE COUNTY, Tenn. (WCBI)- A crash on a portion of the Natchez Trace Parkway in Wayne County, Tennessee claims the lives of of two teens.

Rangers say a Dodge Charger was driving north on the Parkway when the car left the roadway and hit a tree.

The driver and an 18 month old were both taken to the North Alabama Medical Center.

Rayshon Ewing, 18,of Prairie and Daneisha Townsend, 19, of Okolona were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.

Rangers say they’ve seen and uptick in fatal crashes along the trace in Alabama and Tennessee.
