Minnesota man receives $100,000 bond after a domestic violence incident

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Minnesota man has received a $100,000 bond after a domestic violence incident in Amory.

According to Detective Sergeant Jake Hall with the Amory Police Department, a victim was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center -Gilmore in Amory, where the victim reported the incident.

Amory Police were contacted by hospital staff and responded.

Law enforcement arrested 28-year-old Amir Renard Adams of Albert Lea, Minnesota, and he is being charged with Aggravated Domestic Violence and Sexual Battery.

While details are limited, the victim and the suspect are known to each other.

Adams is currently being housed at the Monroe County Adult Detention Center.
