Saltillo woman indicted for manslaughter arrested
Amauriah Ja'Nice Hill was arrested at her home.
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Authorities arrest a Saltillo woman wanted on a manslaughter charge Friday, September 25 — following an indictment.
19-year-old Amauriah Ja’Nice Hill was indicted this summer by the grand jury in connection to a fatal accident in Lowndes County.
Sheriff Eddie Hawkins said the accident happened on Highway 45 and Gaitlin Road.
The United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Hill at her home Friday morning and that evening, she was released on a $50,000 bond.
The regional task force partnered with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and Mississippi Highway Patrol on this investigation.
