Starkville man arrested on 23 burglary charges
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Starkville Police make an arrest in connection to a string of car burglaries from earlier this month.
Anthony Buchanan is charged with 23 counts of auto burglary and one count of felony of a motor vehicle.
These latest charges are tied to a series of auto burglaries reported on September 15 in the Louisville Street area in southern Starkville.
Buchanan has a pretty long rap sheet of auto burglaries in Starkville as well as two previous charges of taking a motor vehicle and at least one count of possession of a stolen firearm.
At the time of this latest arrest, he was out on parole for auto burglary.
He is currently in the Oktibbeha County Jail, and the Mississippi Department of Corrections has a hold on him.
