Amory man arrested after a brawl with a police officer
An Amory man is arrested after a brawl with a police officer.
Last Wednesday, Tupelo police responded to Wallace Street for a disorderly conduct call.
While speaking with the suspect, identified as Ashley Norman, officers allegedly saw a meth pipe.
When police tried to arrest Norman, he apparently began resisting and throwing punches.
Norman was finally arrested and is being charged with Simple Assault on a Law Enforcement officer.
He was given a $50,000 bond.
