A man is dead after a fatal accident in Lowndes Co.
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County man is dead after a fatal accident.
43-year-old Christopher Tyler Robertson of Columbus was traveling north on Highway 45 when he left the roadway, crossed the median, traveled some distance through a fence before coming to rest in a grassy area on Grant Farm Road.
Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant said when volunteers arrived on scene, Roberson was unresponsive an life saving measures were initiated.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
