Man charged with home burglary in Lowndes Co.
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A man is in the Lowndes County jail after he had a very eventful Tuesday morning, and it was all caught on camera.
Jeremiah Orr has been charged with one count of home burglary, one count of auto burglary, and five counts of attempted burglary.
The burglaries happened between 1 am and 5 am, Tuesday, August 11, on Molly Loop and William Roberts Road.
According to the report, officers received a call on Molly Loop where a woman said she observed someone in her red Mercedes.
The man, identified as Orr, was seen on the owner’s home surveillance camera.
An hour later, he allegedly broke into a home on Molly Loop.
Almost three hours later, Orr tried to gain entry into a 2016 Ford Explorer, and two minutes later, he tried to gain entry into a home in the William Roberts Apartments.
Orr remains in the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center.
