Monroe County kidnapping suspect captured in Alabama
Sheriff says David Tyler Jones also had an accomplice
MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A man wanted for kidnapping in Monroe County has been arrested along with an alleged accomplice across the state line.

19-year-old David Tyler Jones was arrested in Alabama this afternoon. He was wanted on a kidnapping warrant after an incident involving a 14-year-old girl.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says Jones took a vehicle and fled Monroe County.
The Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Lindsey Nicole Young of the Bethlehem community for allegedly aiding Jones in the crime.

She is charged with Accessory After the Fact and Hindering Prosecution.
Her bond has not been set.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office thanked Hamilton, Alabama PD and Lamar and Marion Counties for their help bringing Jones in.
