Pleasant Weather to Start the Week
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — With both cloud cover and atmospheric moisture moving out of our area over the course of the day today, it looks like we’ll have a pleasant next few days across northeast Mississippi.
MONDAY: The chance for showers today has been decreasing, with drier air expected to move into our area a bit quicker. We may see one or two isolated showers in our southern counties. However, it is more likely that we won’t see any rain today. The high temperature today is 88°. We’ll have mostly cloudy skies to start the day, but cloud cover will decrease going into the afternoon, making for clear skies in the late afternoon and into the evening. It may also be a bit breezy, with northeasterly sustained winds of 10 mph.
MONDAY NIGHT: Skies will stay mostly clear through the night. The low temperature will be 58°, with northeasterly winds of 5 mph.
TUESDAY: Tomorrow’s high temperature will be around 89°. It will be pleasant and sunny all day long, with easterly winds of 5 mph.
