Video: MSU Holds Memorial Service For Player And His Father

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The Mississippi State University family said goodbye to a football player and his father who also wore the maroon and white.

The two were killed in a car accident last Friday.

The university held a memorial service Thursday to remember the lives of freshman defensive lineman Keith Joseph, Junior and his father Keith Joseph, Senior who played on the team from 1989 to 1992.

The service included inspirational songs and words of comfort and encouragement from university officials, including MSU president, Dr. Mark Keenum and head football coach, Dan Mullen.

The entire Mississippi State football team came to show their support to their teammate’s family and mourn together.

The father and son will be laid to rest after funeral services in their hometown of Pascagoula Friday.
