Three Arrested in Iuka Meth Ivestigation

IUKA, Miss. (WCBI) – Police arrested three suspects Friday in connection with a two-month methamphetamine trafficking investigation.

William Durham, 30, of Iuka; Jesse Green, 34, of Iuka; and Korey Frederick, 34, of Iuka, were arrested after authorities searched Durham’s residence and found 6 grams of methamphetamine ice.

According to Assistant Chief Deputy Jeff Palmer, the street value of the amount of drugs in their possession is estimated at $600.

All three were charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell. The residence was within 1,500 feet of a school so the charges have been enhanced.

Durham and Frederick were released on bond, but Green remains behind bars.

The investigation is still ongoing.
