VIDEO: National Pancake Day Hits North Mississippi

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – The turnout for the primary in Mississippi may be a little lighter than usual, but the turnout for National Pancake Day at a local IHOP was huge.

National Pancake Day is an annual event for a good cause.

WCBI’s Allie Martin reports from an IHOP in Tupelo, where he spoke to Caroline Haygood from LeBonheur about the money raised during the Pancake event.

You can go to an IHOP and ask for a free short stack, which raises money for hospitals like LeBonheur.

National Pancake Day has raised about $20-million dollars for children’s hospitals.
