LEE COUNTY (WCBI) – The search for Leonta Gates appears to be over. According to the inmate roster at the Lee County jail Gates was booked into the jail just before 3 this morning.  The 23 year old Gates is listed as being held on a capital murder charge  WCBI is contacting Sheriff Jim Johnson for details on how Gates was detained and will have the latest here on WCBI.com.
