Two Plane Crash Victims Identified

TUPELO, MS (WCBI) – The fact the aircraft involved is from Texas and and condition of the aircraft are making it difficult to identify the occupants of the plane but WCBI has confirmed the identity of two of the victims.

One of the people who died is Dr. Henry ‘Jack” Jackson of Kerrville Texas.

JACK JACKSON

Jackson was one of the registered owners of the plane that went down.  Jackson was a professor at Schreiner University in Kerrville and an active member of the Texas Civil Air Patrol.  His wife Gwynn Groggell is another of the fatalities.

GROGGEL

Groggell was a popular and successful yoga instructor at a popular Kerrville spa and exercise center.  Family members of both have been contacted about the crash.   The other two victims are a husband and wife also from Kerrville but it is not certain the necessary next of kin has been notified so WCBI is not releasing their names at this time.
