North Mississippi Students Named Presidential Scholars

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Two North Mississippi students are some of the nation’s top seniors.

Nathaniel Barlow and Emma Knight have been named U.S. Presidential Scholars.

Barlow attends Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science, and Knight goes to Corinth High School.

They’re just two of 160 high school seniors from across the country, selected for their accomplishments in academics, leadership, and school and community involvement.

They’ve also been invited to participate in the National Recognition Program in Washington, D.C. in June.

Barlow is from Starkville, and will attend Columbia University this fall.
