Video: Accused Cop Impersonator Speaks Out

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — The North Mississippi man accused of impersonating a law enforcement officer gives WCBI his side of the story.

Jockey Justice tells WCBI his arrest is a big misunderstanding.

Last week, the Houston resident was arrested by Bruce police. He was charged with two counts of impersonating a police officer.

Justice is accused of going to churches and claiming he was a homeland security agent, giving them advice on how to prevent a shooting.

Justice would conduct free seminars under the title, “Home Security in the Homeland.”

He says he never represented himself as a police officer.

“Not anytime did I ever say I was a federal agent of homeland security,” Justice said. “I introduced myself as Investigator Justice, somewhere or another a mixup got in it. We as Christians, with all gun violence going around, we need to have a plan. It’s a good plan. A lot of things have been said that were untrue, but vengeance is mine said the Lord. I forgive whoever or whatever mistake has been made.”

Justice says he has a private investigator license.

His court date is June 14.
