VIDEO: Multiple Cases Of Child Abuse

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)– Recently on WCBI, we’ve reported multiple cases of child abuse, and now one local sheriff is speaking out and calling attention to the issue.

Clay County Sheriff,  Eddie Scott, says ” I guess what concerns us is the cases that we don’t know about. the victims that’s going through this right now, and feel like they don’t have anybody to help them, but we need to talk to somebody… we’re all there… we all have family too, but we have to remain focused on the criminal investigation, and trust that our court systems are doing what they need to do to help protect the kids” Sheriff Scott’s comments come after two separate reported cases of parents sexually abusing their children.
